Conceptum Logistics proudly partnered with Enerkem to deliver large-scale modular logistics solutions for the Recyclage Carbone Varennes (RCV) project in Quebec, one of Canada’s most ambitious clean energy initiatives. The RCV facility will convert over 200,000 tonnes of residual materials annually into 125 million litres of green methanol, while also becoming North America’s largest commercial-scale green hydrogen production site.
Conceptum executed the end-to-end transport of oversized, pre-assembled super-modules from Asia to North America. This included full vessel charters, barge transfers, SPMT operations, and overland transportation, each leg carefully engineered and coordinated. Custom lifting systems and a specialized skidding method were developed to safely maneuver modules on deck, maximizing vessel space and minimizing handling risk.
Through proactive planning, close collaboration with Enerkem, and precise execution, Conceptum helped enable a project expected to deliver significant environmental and economic benefits to Quebec and beyond. The RCV facility will support 5,000 jobs during construction and generate $155 million in annual economic activity once operational.
This project highlights Conceptum’s commitment to delivering complex logistics with engineering excellence, supporting clients’ strategic goals while contributing to a more sustainable future.
